Between The Northern Pines is a sequel to
“Beneath The Big Blue Sky” which told the story
of the Pioneer’s voyage.
Now it is time for the Pioneers to fulfill their dreams
by homesteading the land…

Hadley the Hermit is tired of being woken
by the pioneer’s rooster and wants to
put an end to the crowing but Tasha the Tree Fairy warns him not to be so hasty!

so that he can
stay in bed when the rooster crows!
Rusty & Royal the raccoons at their den
trying to figure out how to find food!
“We’ll help you Georgette and
more helping hands will be arriving soon.”

is that when my Father had his accident, I didn’t have any glimmer of doubt that we would still accomplish the spring
time plantings.”

tunneling
through the ground and that large mounds of dirt are being piled up everywhere…

a gopher mound Ariana and our whole field is speckled with them.”
“Annabelle, you don’t think
the gophers could’ve taken the tubers we just planted – do you?”
