Music Jam Camps 
For students who take weekly music lessons, as they progress, they can sign-up for ‘Jam Camps’ as well as audition to play music at festivals and events.

Mobile Music Camps (Your location)
Dates/Times:
​Reserve a 1 hour music camp for yourself, your child(ren), relatives, a group of friends or a youth group.  Contact Pierre for available dates and times.
Cost:
Family &/or Friends Music Camps:
$45/45 minute camp for 1 student (private camp) (+ a parent for youth camps) 
$60/1 hr. camp for up to 4 family members or friends
 
Youth Group Music Camps:
• $60/1 hour camp for up to 4 students + $5 for each additional student
• Maximum enrollment:  12 students per 1 hour camp
• The size of the group (2-12 students), will determine if the emphasis of the music camp will be more focused on hands-on learning or music appreciation.

General Info:
​• Register for 1 or multiple dates
• Instruments provided upon request
• Parents play a key role at camp in helping their young child(ren) position their instrument and fingers…
• During the camp a parent &/or chaperone is required to stay at the music camp location.
• Filming is not allowed – feel free to take a few photos!
• Music Camps are being held back to back with regularly scheduled music lessons.

For Ages 6-9

Would you like to try playing a piano, violin, ukulele & guitar?  At camp we’ll be exploring notes and rhythm on the piano/keyboard and then learn how to play the same exercises and an easy song on each of the stringed instruments.  Instruments provided.  Parents are welcome to watch and learn with their child.

Country Music Guitar Camp

for Beginners - Ages 9-15

Dirt roads, farm fields and campfires!  These are just a few of the images that are sung about in country songs.  Join Musician Pierre and learn how to strum chords, pick melodies and play an easy classic country song on the acoustic guitar.
Student sized acoustic guitar provided or BYO.

Guitar Camp for Beginners

Ages 9-15
Join musician, Pierre Jacques Pleau for a fun intro to the acoustic guitar.  Learn how to tune up your guitar, hold a pick, strum a few chords, pick a melody and play an easy song.  Guitar provided &/or bring your own acoustic steel string guitar (size ¾ is recommended for youth for ease of playing.)

Americana Ukulele Camp

for Beginners - Ages 9-15

The ukulele is a great travel instrument and is fun to strum by the campfire!  Take music with you on your summer adventures by learning a variety of strumming patterns, instrumental solos and a couple easy Americana songs!
Bring your own Ukulele (size: soprano, concert or tenor)

Piano & Violin Camp​
For Beginners - Ages 5-11

At camp we’ll be exploring notes and rhythm on the piano and then learn how to play the same exercises and an easy song on the violin!  Instruments provided.  Parents are welcome to watch and learn with their child.

Rhythm & Strings

Families - Parents/Grandparents & Children Ages 3-7
Join Musician Pierre for a fun introduction to stringed instruments - the violin/fiddle, ukulele and guitar.  Listen to music, join in with rhythm instruments and sing-a-long to children’s songs!  

Musical Theater Camp for Beginners

Ages 7-15
Do you enjoy singing and acting around the house?  Have you ever thought of being in a musical?  Then jump in and join us for a fun introduction to musical theater!  Explore acting, singing & presentation skills with NSTC Artistic Director, Pierre Jacques Pleau, while acting out scenes from the Youth Musical – Land, Air & Water.  On the second day of camp, after playing various roles from the musical:  Park Rangers, Naturalists, campers, wildlife artists, bears, deer and raccoons…  students will have an opportunity to audition for the role(s) they’d like to play in a short presentation for family & friends.  
Land, Air & Water - Youth Musical Roles:
For ages 11-15:  Camp Counselors, Park Rangers, Naturalists & wildlife artists.
For ages 7-10:  Campers, bears, deer and raccoons…

Americana Dance Camp

for Beginners - Ages 7-15

For those that love dancing – come join us for this lively Americana Dance Camp.  Learn traditional Irish, Swedish & American folkdance steps and then try them out to live barn dance style fiddle music - played by Musician Pierre.
